We’re not learning, we’re being trained.
For real though, we are. All school is is teaching you how to behave in a socially acceptable manner. I learned all about it in a teaching class.
That last comment is such a mind-numbing paradox that i have no idea what to do.
Chris Cobb, an artist based in San Francisco, has created an amazing installation in bookshop called Adobe Books- he catalogued every single one of the 20,000 books by color. The project is titled There is Nothing Wrong in This Whole Wide World. They were arranged by hand over a 10 hour period, and he enlisted the help of 16 volunteers. Such beautiful results, they transformed the bookshop overnight.

I think this is the most relevant thing I’ve seen on Tumblr
They should require that these are put up inside schools. It’s the least they could do as a reminder, because this is sure as hell not taught in the classrooms.

One time we took a friend who wasn’t a good swimmer into a wave pool and when we went into a slightly deep part she started to panic but the lifeguard beside us said “you brought her there now bring her back!!” And then we both almost drowned because I had to pull her back while the lifeguard watched. I weigh 100lbs.
This should be one of those moments we never talk about..
